So, after being dropped off I was, of course warmly welcomed at the MTC, got my things put in my dorm and was immediately thrown into Spanish. Rarely any kind of English word was said by my teacher and all of us, my companion and district-mates had to guess and learn from what we could pick up. We also had an activity where we could teach an 'investigator', talk with them and figure out what is their level of experience with the church of how they are with religion. First day definitely felt like more than one day.
I love my Sister roommates! My companion is Sister/Hermana Otte (ah-tee) and what is really more awesome, she likes a lot of the things that I like as well: drawing, writing, reading, anime, and our favorite tv shows are mostly the same. We are very similar in so many ways I loved her already after meeting her in Spanish as we looked at each other like O_o when we couldn't understand a single spanish word
The second day was technically the same... similar, and I'm just having a lot of fun. Even though our schedules are packed with tons of activity and especially Spanish classes. French and a lifetime of Tagalog are... helping XD
And as I said, I had my first temple trip to the Provo temple! It was so amazing, and different too, but still beautiful. (I also found out how delicious temple food can be)
Enjoying my time and am loving the spiritual experience :D
